Is roman and greek government more alike or different explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Roman government was mainly a dictatorship even though they did have a Senate. Who controlled the army was one of the main differences and the Senate went along with whatever the king/Cesar wanted. American government is based on three branches that balance each other and no one has total control. To do anything there must be approval from each branch. We have never had a king.
