Hi, need help with distance between points in the Cartesian plane D=(9,4) F=(6,8). Not really understanding about radical form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D = (x1, y1) the x and y coordinates F = (x2, y2) Distance = sqrt[(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2] the square root of the sum of the squared x and y differences.
