How is the Bosnian genocide similar to the Holocaust?

Because they killed millions of innocent people in a very small amount of time.

That's true in that they both killed people, but as horrific as the Bosnian genocide is, it claimed only several thousand where the Holocaust claimed millions. But what they do share more in common is that both were events that focused on the extermination of a specific ethnic group or anyone else deemed as "undesirables".
