@briandbeck2 I have briefly read over your first paper. It looks like the main subject to your essay/ report is to compare the two colleges about the Greek? Is that correct? Who is your audience? I thought it was very good. It gave a lot of information. ~ what I recommend is that although information is good, try using your own opinions in the beginning of your report and throughout the report. The reader will often get bored and tired if all they read is fact after fact. But facts are very important they hold your report together and make it structured and secured. I noticed in the fist paragraph I could not find your thesis statement or your main goal what your position was and where you stood. Try to make that more clear and like I said before use your own words and make the reader try to "think" the way you "think". I also recommend stay away from the words,'me', 'my', 'I', and so on. Try using the words, 'We' to include the reader into the report so that they can relate and understand your argument and the reader can get persuade. An example might be ~ "As we look at the number of students attending the University of Maryland, there's a large diversity in the cultural preference among..."~ and so on, thats just an example. be sure to be smart with your words. You have done great with the facts just never start it at the beginning of an essay. Try starting it by adding the reader into your "conversation" /topic/report. Well to say all truth I'm that smart but I hope this helps! :) Welcome to OpenStudy!
