OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is dealing with single logarithm expressions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u attach the question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2 \log _{4}6-\log _{4}9\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@angelcriner thanks ill look at it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint \[\log_{ a} x-\log_{ a} y=\log_{a} \frac{ x }{ y }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks...thats all i needed was a hint of how to set the problem up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and make \[\log_{4} 9=\log_{4} 3^{2} =2\log_{4} 3\] so u can take 2 as common factor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NP, solve it and i will check it after u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wild_rebel_gurl21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 1 as the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup the answer is 1 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay..thanks for the help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u r welcome :)
