2x^2=50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we want to find out what X is, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well let's put this into words because it often helps The problem is: Two times x squared is equal to fifty

OpenStudy (hotmama2):

i think x is 25 or maybe 13? are u in k12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide both sides by 2 to simplify the equation: 2x^2 = 50 2x^2/2 = 50/2 x^2 = 25 x^2 = 5^2 so x =5 or x = -5

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

or x is the square root of 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's either (+-25) or (+-5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It cannot be 25 Try plugging it in 2x^2 = 50 so that would be 2 *25^2 = 50 1250 is not equal to 50 lol

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

its (+-5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
