a triangle has side lengths of 1cm, 15cm, and 20 cm. classify it as acute, obtuse or right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How can you have such a triangle? Even if the angle between the 15cm and 20 cm legs were near zero, a third side of only 1cm would not close the figure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The triangle doesn't exist.Check your question again. The sum of any two sides of a triangle should be greater than the third. Clearly, 15+1 is not greater than 20.

My point exactly.
