OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ya the answer is A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for sinx=y, if x is in quadrant 1, the bigger the x then the bigger the value of y if in quadreant 2, then vice versa, the bigger the x then the smaller the y okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks is the answer a for both of the questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for cosx=y in quadrant 3, the bigger x is, then the bigger the y is so guess what is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand the relationship that you're saying with bigger x and y @edwinls9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay, now Cos t = -0.42 Cos w = -0.08 -0.08 is bigger than -0.42 right? then w must be bigger than t :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought it would be t is bigger since cos180=-1 while cos260=0 so the -.80 would be closer to 180 so it would be smaller, so w would be smaller than t?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ya i write wrong numbers, it should be -0.80 not -0.08. then you are right! Congrats! :-)

thanks!
