If angle MNO is congruent to angle SQR which of the following is true? angle O congruent to angle Q angle M congruent to angle S angle MN (with a line of above it) congruent to ange SR (line above SR also) NO (line above the letters) congruent RS (line above)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4 sorry to bother you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer is angle M is congruent to angle S is this right??

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Is there a picture to go with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no pic

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

And why are you posting geometry questions in Health Sciences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just typed as I see it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol!!! oops just noticed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was so stressed out I guess I didn't notice

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

I don't like this problem: in my opinion, it is not well-written if a diagram is not included.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just sec let me see if there is one again. maybe I didn't look at it well enough.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep no picture : (

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

If we are just talking about 3 points making an angle, we can't conclude anything about the lengths of the line segments that make those angles, which eliminates two of the answers. And without knowing the lengths of the line segments, we can't conclude anything about the angles that are made by connecting the points in a different way. So, I decline to answer, you'll have to make your own decision.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Right, and I think the problem only states this:|dw:1391800460952:dw| which means we can't figure any of the answers out, because we don't know how long MN or NO or SQ or QR are, so we can't determine anything about other angles, agreed?
