could someone please please help me !!!!! no one will help me in the sience section or chemistry. The needle on a compass is a small magnet that detects and lines up with the magnetic field lines of the Earth. Suppose you are holding a compass and note the direction the needle is pointing. A large truck with steel sides pulls up beside you. You notice that the needle changes its position. explaine your observation ...................................... ill give a meadal:)!!!!!!!!!

Because the truck is made of metal than either the truck has the - charge for the needle points to north mostly i believe that is why that need points to any medal object because of its opposite charge i think
