Lateral area means the area of the side of the cylinder. Imagine taking a scissors and cutting through the side of the cylinder vertically, and then flattening the resulting material. It'll have rectangular form. Its length will be the circumference of the circle with radius 6 yards TIMES the height of the cylinder, 24 yards. So? A = ?
