A book is given a sudden push along a tabletop to make it slide on its own. If initial speed of slide is halved by what factor does the distance that book slides before stopping change?  0.5,0.25,2.0,or 4.0 I think it's 0.25 not sure.

is 0.5 correct because for a previous question the answer to doubled = 4.0 so I'm guessing it would be 0.5 if it was halved?
