OpenStudy Ambassadors 12 Online
OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Something for the newbies.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Since there has been many new users, and some of them don't know the basics of navigating this site, I made a simple tutorial. This one is for posting questions. I will make more if requested for other uses of the site. Please bookmark it and use when needed! :) Hope I can help the newbies. PS I used MSPaint. It was a rough one. http://prntscr.com/2qifcf

this is great wolfe! just be sure not to label users as "newbies," this post could really help anyone actually. you never know ;) remember we were all newbies once, and welcoming them in person/ live is the best way to go about it!

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

But newbies mean new users O.o

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Just some words of advice...glad to see your dedication to OS and all its new users, you'd make a great ambassador :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

right, but i get some people who aren't necessarily new asking me questions too. My point is, we don't need to label a group of people. We can work collectively to further improve everyone's OS savvyness

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Ooh ok but just to make it clear, I was saying that I made this to help the newbies hehe. Everyone can use this tutorial for themselves or for others :D I'll make more as Comp suggested. Maybe I'll make a video.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

sweet! I'm sure everyone will appreciate this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That was very useful! If a newbie is going along with, well, what they usually do, then I'll just link them to this page :)
