The two figures shown below are congruent. Identify the corresponding sides and angles.

Please help I got this wrong and need to understand. See pic attached.

If you have to, draw the diagram on a piece of paper (or print it), cut out the shapes, and rotate them so you can see this directly.

So A corresponds to R? for angles and so on. And AB corresponds RS for sides

Look at it this way: D is the sharpest point on the figure on the left. Q is the sharpest point on the figure on the right. So D and Q correspond. A is the point to the left of D, going counter clockwise. The corresponding point on the right is the one to the left of Q, going counter clockwise, which is R. Therefore, A and R correspond. Etc.

Well, you switched the ordering of some of the letters on the sides. Whether that matters or not, I can't say, but if you have the order consistent, you don't have to worry about whether it matters. Actually, you've got one completely wrong...

It should be easy to convert something like AD to the corresponding label.
