How can I demonstrate that this function is continuous but not differentiable??

OpenStudy (abb0t):

turn up function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4e ^{x} \rightarrow x<0\]\[|x ^{2}-4|\rightarrow0\le x <2\]\[\ln(x-1)\rightarrow x \ge2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They are all part of the same function called F(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really don't know how to proceed. Can you please show me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = |x|, continuous at 0 but not differentiable at 0
