Early Childhood -- Age 2 to 6 Develops Initiative vs. Guilt Description: Children have gained a newfound power at this stage of life as they have now developed basic motor skills required as for their age and now become more and more engaged and intuitive in social interaction with the people around them. They must learn to now achieve a balance from between eagerness for adventure and responsibility which they are seen to be learning to control impulses and childish outbursts.
