A-1kg ball is thrown up in the air what is the net force acting on the ball when it reaches it's maximum height and what is the ball acceleration at this point

Interesting question. At its maximum height, the ball is still accelerating at g=-9.8 m/s^2 even though it has temporarily stopped moving. The net force is its weight.
