if y varies as x, and y=10 when x=5, find x when y=3

Parth (parthkohli):

Direct variation is a relation between \(y\) and \(x\) where \(y\) is always a multiple of \(x\). In other words, \(y = k \times x\) where \(k\) will be a constant in all \(x\)'s and \(y\)'s. What is the \(k\) when \(y = 10\) and \(x = 5\)?
