This thread is specifically for @wolfe8's OpenStudy newbie guide. I'll be doing screenshots and examples on here.

Tagging:

To tag users, type "@" and then the user's name. When you tag them, they will receive a notification that they've been tagged, and hopefully come to help! :)

Yes, and IE sucks. But, Chrome isn't working for me so I had to use IE. :/
