Like maybe have somebody speak the audio while recording their screen as the go through that tutorial, in a Khan Academy-style thing with the screen and whatnot.

Maybe we can have somebody else do it? Anybody? Maybe even Preetha can do it herself, starting off with something like "Hello, I am Preetha, CEO of OpenStudy, and I would like to welcome you to this great site." etc etc But I know she's extremely busy and hardly ever responds to tags, so maybe not, maybe we can have a very prominent OS figure do it? maybe @satellite73 or somebody? lol comp

Overall I thought that the video was really informative and well made. You did a really great job, and I hope it becomes an official OpenStudy beginner's tutorial. It is almost like you are a master, do you make videos often?

Thanks! Nah I just watch videos a lot. Last year I made a few gaming videos for YouTube but that's about it.

I just had an idea.

There should be a specific link like for the CoC, Setting, and your profile for beginners on the site. It could say "Need Help?" or something like that. Located there would be this video and anything else that has been OK'd by Preetha and other top members of the OpenStudy team.

I agree--like a notification that appears kind of like a "new message" notification that tells them to read the CoC and the TaC, and watch the video guide or give them a link to the picture guide--which I believe Comp is putting together, and which I would still like to work on, but cannot due to the fact that nobody's profile is loading for me.

Just an fyi, youtube is blocked for some people because of wifi issues or someone just blocked it, so maybe consider making it available other places too.
