If you divide two terms, both containing the same variable, but having different coefficients (i.e. 2x/3x), is the quotient/ answer 2/3, or 2/3x. As in.... (2/3)(x/x) = 2/3(1) = 2/3 Or does the x stay? Any and all help is greatly appreciated! :)
