Integral of 3 cos (5x)? i don't know how to do this because of 5x... because if it were differentiation, chain rule would apply.. but for integration, what do you do? i tried the problem based on something off the internet and got for my final answer, (3/5) sin 5x. Is this right?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

two ways to do this : 1) advanced guessing 2) substitution

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

pick one..

Oh I see, this lesson is on u-susbstitution, so I should use that. Thanks!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good, u knw how to take the integral now ha :) simply sub u = 5x

Yep. Working on it right now :) Thanks! I'll close the question now.
