@MrNood i am looking for steps AND the answer. i am required to take notes, and that does help me. however i am on crunch time to turn in these assignments and have not taken a math class in over a year- i dont remember a thing.

(h, k+p)

directrix:
y = k - p

"k" is the midpoint, thus vertex is midpoint between focus and directrix
