You may be asking yourself: How many kinds of music genres are there? Well, let's find out!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Technically, there is 48 ways to classify genres. The reason is because otherwise we would be going into really-chunky material, like sub-genres. For example, I bet you never knew these really cool sub-genres: Nu-Flextro- Mix of disco, electro, and really "wavy" bass and treble Acid Jazz- Mix of dubstep ( well it wasn't called dubstep back then, it was called "acid") and had jazz accents combined together.

The reason we also classify it as 48 is because there are so many genres, like ones in Africa that are from particular tribes or groups of peoples and the world itself is so diverse that we are so vapid and tedious that we say that some particular sub-genres of countries are just their name, like Hawaii or France genres. Ah, how the world of music works is weird. LIke naming something French Pop because its pop music...and in France...sung especially with French music artists... See where I'm getting to?!?!? The madness of music.

Its not confusing. I just thought in my brain, and I had been for a long time. So, out of sheer laziness and distraught memory, I just did it. But hey, thanks!
