Verify the following identity: cos(x)/sin(x)+1 = tan(x)-sec(x)+1/tan(x)+sec(x)-1 I just need help starting the problem

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

is that cos(x) / ( sin(x) + 1) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

and the RHS is (tan(x)-sec(x)+1)/(tan(x)+sec(x)-1) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd note that tan@=sin@/cos@ and put all into sin and cos terms to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, ill try that, tgabjs

*thanks

I hope it turns out to help.
