For the graph of y = f (x) attached inside, arrange the from smallest to largest... a) The slope of the graph at A. b) The slope of the graph at B. c) The slope of the graph at C. d) The slope of the line AB. e) The number 0. f) The number 1.

graph!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so i think e is the smallest, then the slope of C... not even sure if that's right though... and not very sure on the rest either :/ Please explain!! thank you:)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well, there clearly is point where the tangent is horizontal or falling so 0 is the smallest of all the choices.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Then they have the line y=x shown. Since it has slope 1, you can compare the slopes of the other tangents to it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so would slope of A be the largest of all the choices?
