I need help with writing a literary analysis essay about the story Tell tale heart by Edgar Allen Poe. I need to come up with three main points in the thesis and discuss it in the whole essay.

irony - the part where he confesses [hears the heart beat]

For one, perhaps you could say that he was insane because he could not reason that he was committing a crime as big as a murder simply because he did not like the man's eye.
