Medal + Fanning What is the contrapositive of the following statement? "If it does not have four legs, then it is a fish." If it is a fish, then it does not have four legs. If it has four legs, then it is not a fish. If it is not a fish, then it has four legs. If it does not have four legs, then it is not a fish.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Contrapositive = Reverse and Inverse. It should be logically equivalent. Original If it does not have four legs, then it is a fish. Reverse If it is a fish, then it does not have four legs. Inverse If it is NOT a fish, then it DOES have four legs. No one said it had to be true!

So with that being said it's c? @tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Not a clue. They answer choices are not indexed. You'll need to approach the answer with confidence. Why don't you do what I did, only do the Inverse first, followed by the Reverse. See if you get to the same place.

Okay thank you! :D
