how do i make this descriptive paragraph better?

My cat cleo is the widlest cat you will ever meet. The first thing that you’ll hear when you walk in the door is a loud thump, thump and nails sliding across the hardwood floor. The next thing you’ll see is her pudgy self sprint across the room and jump up in to the rocking chair to greet you. Cleo is a short hair totis shell with colors of black, brown, tan, and carmel. She is pretty fat for being less thana year old, but that just means she is extra cute. She sometimes thinks she is a dog the way she begs for food, gets in to the trash, and occasionally drinks from the toilet. Overall, she is a great cat no matter how wild she can be.

I would say where every you can add descriptive words (ex. CREAKY OLD rocking chair)
