3/8 divided by 1/2. when dividing fractions, you " flip " what you are dividing by, then multiply. 3/8 divided by 1/2 = 3/8 x 2/1 = and just multiply. Make sure you " flip " what you are dividing by and not the other number. 3/8 divided by 1/2 = 3/8 * 2/1....NOT 8/3 * 1/2....flip what you are dividing by, then multiply
