will give medal.can someone help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with a problem in algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2^{2}+3x+2\] separate the two values with commas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to rewrite the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2^{2}+3x=2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Subtract 2^2 from 2. You would then get 3x = 2-(2^2), which is 3x = -2. You would then be able to divide -2 by 3, which would then end up with an answer of x = -2/3. However, I think you wrote the problem wrong.. If you're supposed to end up with two values, the problem should be 2x^2 + 3x + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did write it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In that case, you would use the quadratic formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have the equation, you would use 2 as a, 3 as b, and -2 as c.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then you can plug it in and get two answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whts the answer.im still confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1392051900370:dw| Do you get that part so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now all you do is just plug 2 in for a, 3 in for b, and 2 in for c.. |dw:1392052672749:dw|
