Sketch the graph of f(x) and use it to sketch f ' (x) on the same graph. f(x)=4x i'm drawing inside:) what i think so far :) i think i know how to graph f(x)=4x, but not sure about f ' (x) :/ thanks!!

|dw:1392072113975:dw| is this one right? :/ if so, not sure about the f ' (x) :/

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

What's the derivative of f(x) = 4x? f'(x) = 4 So graph a line y = 4.

|dw:1392072326013:dw| ohh is that right now? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just differentiate f(x)=4x u get f'(x)=4 which is a horizontal line passes through y=4 if you want to observe that from the graph. Just check the slope of every point of f(x)=4x , it is 4 for all points so that that you can plot for each value of x, a value of y that is 4..

ahh okay awesome!! thanks!!! :D @agent0smith @ali_rami1990 :)
