Can someone help me? So for once in a long time I looked up something on Google and I did not find the answer I was looking for. So I know the definition of the word imply but I want to know how do you imply something in writing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Imply The verb to imply means to state indirectly (i.e., to include a suggestion in a message). Examples: His speech on transitioning to today's needs strongly implies that the typist pool will be made redundant. Would I like a pack of mints? What are you implying? I don't have bad breath, do I?

implying is to suggest, actually the answer above me is basically what your looking for ;)

I know what imply means but I don't know how to imply something For Example like implying a conversation

Like for example in the book i am writing my main character and this guy like each other and i want it to be implied that they kiss i dont want to actually write out a description of them kissing.
