what is the average of a,b,c ?.

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

a+b+c/3 do u knw how we get this formula?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

The average of a group numbers/values/variables is the all the of those terms added together divided by the number of terms. If you wanted to know the average of 3,4,5 you would do ( 3 + 4 +5 ) 12 ----------- = --- = 4 3 3 So the average of that would be 4. The average of those would be: \[\frac{ a+b+c }{ 3 }\]
