OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

substitute x = 2 for ur equation 'cause in ur equation x = period and the period u want to find is 2 decades \[f(x) = 2300 . \ 2^{x}\] \[f(x) = 2300 . \ 2^{2}\]\[f(x) = 2300 \times 4\] got it :) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not really. :(

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

the problem says that the equation gives the value of investment after x decades ....

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

so... if the equation is f(x) = 2300 . 2^x then the value of investment after 2 decades can be found by this... since the amount u want to find is the value after 2 DECADES u have to find f(2) and what i have done is finding f(2)

Would it be C then?
