u can use this \[Distance = \sqrt{(x_{2} -x_{1})^{2} + (y_{2} -y_{1})^{2}}\]
\[distance=\sqrt{(y2-y1)^2+(x2-x1)^2}\]
here ( -3 , 4) and ( -7 , 4) can be used to determine x_1 , x_2 , y_1 , y_2...
for instance u can take... -3 --> x_1 -7 --> x_2 4 --> y_1 4 --> y_2
