how do i break down the cube root of 108

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The number 108 equals 2*2*3*3*3 We see that it has 3 three's and so we can take those 3 three's and place those outside of the cube root function as one 3. cube root (108) = cube root (2*2*3*3*3) = 3 * cube root (4)
