Based on the cartoon, which conclusion can be made about the United States during the late 1800s? (6 points) The Southern white population quickly embraced African Americans' newfound right to vote. In some regions, African Americans were required to pass the same test as white citizens before they could vote. In some regions, the white population found ways to get around accepting the Fifteenth Amendment. The Southern white population was actually less educated than the African American population.

I would think it is "In some regions, African Americans were required to pass the same test as white citizens before they could vote." Because the very badly written sign says that if a African american had an education that he could vote with the whites.
