For an annual rate of change of -31% find the corresponding growth or decay factor. I don't have my notes on me so any help is appreciated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not know, but my best guess is that you have \[ I = Pr^t \]And they want you to change it to be: \[ I = Pe^{kt} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(r = 1-0.31\) in this case, and you have to find \(k\).

Can you solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, thanks :P
