Determine the equation of the straight line in general form passing through: (-1, -3) and (-1, 11)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The eq. is x=-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how'd u know u that??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The line is vertical.. (undefined slope). and both passes to x=-1...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to find slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the slope using the two points. Then use one of the points and the variables x and y in the slope formula, and equate the two.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vertical lines have undefined slopes.. Horizontal lines have slopes equal to 0... Formula for getting the slope of a line: y^2 - y^1/ x^2 - x^1

OUT! Be a fan... ;))) Till the next time...

yeah it is that answer, she is good.
