Hey Nick, it's Darry. c;

Someone who is earnest shows sincerity and intense conviction.  This means that the person is heartfelt with their beliefs.  So, I am thinking that it is important to be earnest so you can be confident in what you believe in.  A lot of people today just want to believe in what celebs believe in or change themselves for the people looking at them.  This is not right.  Believe in what you believe in and be earnest and make sure that if someone tries to change you, that you will not be changed.
