Find the slope intercept equation of the line that has the given characteristics slope 0 and y-intercept (0,2) The equation is y= ? Write in the answer in y=mx+b format

OpenStudy (joemarket):

y=2 since there is no slope! The graph would just be a straight, horizontal line!

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Right...the slope intercept form y = mx + b m = slope b = y-intercept so since slope = 0 and y-intercept is 2.. y = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would I write it though?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

just like that....y = 2
