Let g(t) be the height, in inches, of Amelia Earhart (one of the first woman airplane pilots) t years after her birth. What are the units of g ' (t)? What can you say about the signs of g ' (13) and g ' (35) ? (Assume that 0≤ t < 39, the age at which Amelia Earhart’s plane disappeared.) **answer choices inside:) please explain! THanks!

Answer choices, A,B,C,D from top to bottom:) attached:) and here's answer choice E. couldn't fit on the whole screen :/ E. The units of g ' (t) are inches/year. The quantity g ' (13) represents how tall Amelia Earhart was at age 13, so we expect g ' (13) > 0. The quantity g ' (35) represents how tall Amelia Earhart was at age 35, so we expect g ' (35) > 0 since it measures her height.

and each new answer choice begins with "the unit..." :)

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

inches/year g ' (13) would be positive since she's still growing and g ' (35) would likely be zero since she's full grown

oh okay awesome! so choice A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

**sorry choice B haha

OpenStudy (agent0smith):
