you "deserve" to be successful. They generally 
prioritize civil rights over economic success. 

Republicans believe in equality in the sense that 
everyone gets an equal CHANCE to succeed, but 
"survival of the fittest" will make some succeed while 
others fail. They generally prioritize economiv 
success over civil rights.
