How do you get into Stanford University?
I already am but i have heard that just having good grades isn't good enough
@FlvsGirl
I mean I am still in middle school but i am just thinking about it cuz i have straight a's in all subjects and am learning calculus.
And i am taking the sat this march for my center of talented youth camp
Did you look at their admissions information and application? Have you tried contacting them? Getting to know about the target school is a large part of getting in. In general: Showing your productivity through volunteerism and extra curricular activities is also good. If you have good grades and a full life, it shows that you have some diversity and resilience.
Academics: Grades: 3.8-4.0, Plenty of AP courses Extracurriculars: Leadership roles in clubs, some other demonstrated excellence, maybe music. Passion: Something you care about and have pursued to excellence. And luck!
You do need more than just good grades to get into Stanford. It is the 4th highest ranked university in the WORLD. That is pretty good.
I am in 9th grade and want to go to St. Andrews University. It is number 117 in the WORLD, and that is still pretty nice.
I have only done one semester of high school, but my GPA is 3.9.
