HELP!!! PWEASE :'(

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

The front face of a Nordic house is triangular. The surface area of the face is x^2 + 3x + 10 where x is the base of the triangle. What is the height of the triangle in terms of x?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Area = \(\large \frac{1}{2}bh\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\(\large x^2 + 3x + 10 = \frac{1}{2} xh\) solve \(h\)

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

ok so first I multiply 2 both sides? right?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

ok so then it is 2(x^2 + 3x + 10 )= x(h) ?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

so far so good.

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

so then i divide both sides by x?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

so 2(x^2 + 3x + 10 )/x = h ? that's the answer?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

@whpalmer4

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

That appears to be correct...

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

oh ok thanks <3
