Select the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the line on the graph and passes through the point (3, 2). y = 1 over 3 x + 3 y = -1 over 3x + 3 y = 3 x + 2 y = - 1 over 3 x + 2 I think its C but its been soooo long since I've done this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I ment B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@parakeet do you think you can help me with this one too?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the line on the graph, i see no graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you can't see it, its a Graph with a line going through points zero comma two and one comma five.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, well the slope of that line is 3, because of rise over run, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then a line perpendicular to that must have a slope of the negative recipricol, which in this case is -1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that leaves a and d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so I got that first part right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can't be d because d is the line that you described to me, so it's b, get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay so I got the answer right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me with one more and that's it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure, can u give me a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm new to open study how do I give you a medal?
