I need help. http://i60.tinypic.com/214sjeu.jpg

OpenStudy (mertsj):

plot the points and draw the line that follows the points the best. Different people will get different answers but they should be close.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Are you suppose to do this by hand or calculator?

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

@lugi0210 by hand

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Alright, just asking. It could be done either way :)

OpenStudy (dan815):

sort those xs from lowest to highest so its easier to see

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Try putting down a line that gives you an equal number of data points above and below the line.

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

So I have to divide top and bottom and graph?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

No, plot the points, and then lay down your ruler and wiggle it around until half the points are above the edge of the ruler and half are below. That should be a decent approximation in this case.

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Ok thank you!
