Form the intersection for the following sets. M = { } N = {6, 7, 8, 9, 10} M ∩ N = {0, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10} {Ø, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10} {6, 7, 8, 9, 10}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It'll be M U N , because M intersection N is Null set because there are no common elements . And M union N will be {6,7,8,9,10}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i had that and it was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is union as M ∩ N={ }

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Acc . to my knowledge {} is never included in the union . It is included in subset but not in either intersection and union . And the sign of Union is 'U' And intersection is upside down U.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know wht i mean to say is it aint intersection

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and for your knowledge { } means empty set. If there are no num in the set then this is used
