OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Can someone explains what this simile means?? "And life is too much like a pathless wood "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The line's comparing life to a "pathless woods," which most likely means it's easy to get lost without any directions.

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Oh ok that makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah :) Glad I could help.

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

This is what i pulled it out of :) It's when I'm weary of considerations, And life is too much like a pathless wood Where your face burns and tickles with the cobwebs Broken across it, and one eye is weeping From a twig's having lashed across it open.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I think I read that poem a year ago. :)

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Haha that is cool :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (xmoses1):
